About the workshop

In this workshop, you can improve your wildlife photography skills by working alongside Sunil Sharma, learning from him, and practising your techniques. Sunil Sharma is an experienced photographer who has visited Bharatpur numerous times over the past years, and is familiar with the park. He will assist you in selecting the best locations to photograph wildlife and help you track the birds. This workshop will be highly interactive, and participants will receive real-time feedback on their images in the field and have their work reviewed each evening.

To ensure that Sunil Sharma can provide individual attention to each participant, the number of attendees is limited. If you are already engaged in bird photography, this field learning experience will help you better understand wildlife habitats, and enable you to take compelling, inspiring images that tell a story and capture the emotions of the subject.

You will be learning how to create stunning images of common birds and simple subjects. You'll learn how to achieve spot-on exposure in the field, using different lighting creatively. The course will cover the basics of bird photography, including identification, working with subjects, and wildlife observation. We'll also explore techniques for creating stunning habitat shots, close-ups, and capturing emotions in our frames. Focusing techniques will be discussed and practised in the field. The course will also cover creative nature photography, wildlife conservation photography, post-processing steps to enhance your images, portfolio management, and how to work on assignments.
